Annual edible plant, 30-40 days from germination, grows 30-40cm (11-15in.) tall. Green leaves with an apple-mustard flower. Indoor grows year-around. They have a fresh, crisp taste and can be used on their own or cooked with meat. The Japanese are fond of them pickled. Highly resistant to cold and grown extensively during the winter months in Japan.
