A time tested, medium early, variety. Onion Alice has a round, yellow or golden brown, medium sized bulbs wrapped in strong, well fitted skin. The collar is medium thick, and the flesh is consistent white to yellowish, with a pleasant, slightly acrid taste. Generally, disease free, Onion Alice is adaptable, resistant to mechanical damage and high yielding in almost all growing areas. Bulbs of Onion Alice can reach 130g (4.5oz) in weight and store well, they mature uniformly and require a well-timed harvest. Used mainly for direct spring seeding, the time from sowing to harvest is around 120 to 125 days.
